Junior Miss Preston Guild, Ivy, talks about her bid to win Miss North West 2014.
Brilliant start to the week when the pictures from a recent photo shoot with TrendyAs Boutique and Yappers Chappers designs came through.
Massive thank you to Sue Blackhurst , Claire Griffiths and Safira Ismail MUA you were absolutely amazing and the shots look incredible! Also recently I got a message asking me to mentor & empower the girls in this year’s Junior Miss Fylde Coast 2014/15,. WOW!
It’s so humbling to think that the Miss England North West Team believe that I can do that and help in anyway! I am so ready! I want them to know they are beautiful, smart and they can do anything they put their minds to.
If I could give them any word of advice I’d say enjoy the day from start to finish, make new friends and just be proud of how far you have come regardless of whether they place or not because even the people right at the top had to start from somewhere!
Winning Junior Miss Preston Guild 2012 is one of my biggest accomplishments and I met some girls who to this day are my closest friends. It taught me that however weird I am (very) I need to let that part of me shine and be the real natural me, and help the people around me do the same for themselves.
Miss North West is in two weeks! Just thinking about it scares me and sends butterflies to my stomach. I cant wait to get there and show the judges, my family and friends and even just myself how well I can do if I put my mind to something.
Voting is now live for Miss Popularity North West and right now I need YOUR help, a simple text costing only £1 will send through a vote for me and give me a better chance of winning the crown.
Pretty Please text : ‘MISSNORTHWEST08’ to 64343 – I will make you proud!
I would like to take this chance to thank everyone who has helped me realise that I can do this and supports me every step of the way from day one, Laura Handy, Leanne Berry, Lauren Mellis, Mary-Kate Mckay to name a few I love you all so much!
Have a good week
