Junior Miss Preston – my inspirations, my role models.

Hey everyone!

This week I am going to write my blog about my two of my idols. To me an idol is a person you look up to, someone you admire and a hero.

My first is Amy Willerton, who is Miss Universe Great Britain 2013. She is from Bristol and is 22 years old. Amy was recently in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here where she did incredibly well.

Amy has been doing beauty pageants for a while and has had the titles of Miss Wales Asia Pacific World 2011, Miss London 2012, Miss Bristol 2010 and Miss Bath 2012.

Amy is a beautiful woman inside and out and I think she is very intelligent. Amy is one of my idols because I believe she is an excellent role model, she’s isn’t just a gorgeous face she also has a massive heart.

(L-R) Holly Desai, Miss Leicestershire, Mary-Kate Mckay, Miss Lancashire and Miss Preston Guild, Amy Willerton and Carina Tyrell, Miss England.

My other idol is Mary-Kate McKay, who is Miss Preston Guild 2012. I have known Mary-Kate since 2011 and since the day I met her she has been my role model.

Mary-Kate has always been like a big sister to me, she has always given me the best advice and always been there for me. She has also helped me on my journey with God and used to be one of my amazing life group leaders at Longton Community Church.

Mary-Kate is absolutely stunning and naturally gorgeous. She is also one of the kindest, most generous and thoughtful people I have ever met.

She also holds the title of Miss Lancashire 2014 and has been in the top 3 at Miss England twice!

Recently both my idols have been together in Mauritius, I’d just like to say I hope they’re having an absolutely wonderful time! Both these woman are my idols, role models and heroes as they have many incredible qualities which I aspire to have.

My quote for this week is one I recently saw on Mary-Kate McKay’s twitter account that she posted.

‘Passion will lead us where success can’t take us.’

This inspired me as I have been told many many times that I am wasting my intelligence by doing a Beauty Therapy course. However Beauty Therapy is what I am passionate about and I would not want to be doing anything else!

Thank you for reading my blog and good luck to everyone going back to school, college or work!

Lots of love, Molly Hilton x x x
