Junior Miss Preston – The CRY Charity Ball – Tickets are now on sale!

Hey everyone!

This week I am talking about mine and Ivy Kusaloka’s (Junior Miss Preston Guild 2012) charity ball. Our charity ball is in aid of the charity Cardiac Risk in The Young. Below is the description given on their website under the section ‘About Us’.

‘Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD. CRY promotes and develops heart screening programmes and funds medical research. CRY publishes and distributes medical information written by leading cardiologists for the general public. CRY funds fast track referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals.’

Junior Miss Preston's Charity Ball

We decided to raise money and awareness for Cardiac Risk in the Young as we believe it is a fantastic charity! We are thoroughly glad to be able to help such an amazing charity. We have the opportunity to raise money to help so many people in so many ways, we couldn’t be more excited!

We have put a lot of time and effort in to planning our ball. We have a free buffet for everyone on the night being provided by the excellent Creme De La Creme delicatessen. We have a DJ coming on the night who will be there to entertain all the guests throughout the whole evening.

Also we have a range of live entertainment on the night including a Latin Formation performance by Fever Dance Company and a performance by the talented singer Chloe Dent.

On the night we are also holding a raffle to raise even more money for CRY which includes many brilliant prizes to win if you choose to enter.

The ball is being held at Tarleton Bowling Club in Tarleton, Preston. At the venue there will also be a licensed bar open all evening. Myself and Ivy Kusaloka will both be attending the event.

The dress code for our event is black tie. Therefore, suit and tie for men and lovely ball dresses for the ladies. Who doesn’t love an excuse to get suited and booted?
