Junior Miss Preston Mr England North West Preston

Definitely Do It

I entered Miss Preston to help boost my confidence up and it did and to meet new friends and I did. All the girls were lovely and most of us stay in contact so it’s great. I also wanted to represent my own town and I was a finalist so I did :)

The best part of the experience was meeting girls, and having my mum, 2 friends and boyfriend in the audience to cheer me on. Without them I wouldn’t of been able to do it.

Taking part definitely gave my confidence a boost because now I am more confident and smile more. I would love to go into modelling now after Miss Preston.

If anyone is thinking of entering I would say definitely do it!!!! It’s a great experience and you will love it. I would love to do it again.

I Want To Do It All Again

I entered for the prospect of representing Preston, the town I was born and raised in, in the Miss England final.

The best part was the live final at the Playhouse. All the rehearsing really came together and paid off, I had so much fun taking part in the show and meeting all of the other girls.

Taking part gave me new found confidence and introduced me to a bunch of similar minded lovely girls, some of whom have become great friends.

If you considering entering – Go for it!!! Even if you don’t win it’s the best fun you’ll ever have and you will be so glad you did it, and guaranteed you will come away wanting to do it all again next year.

Changed My Life For the Better

I have previously entered similar pageants and really enjoyed them, I had never entered Miss Preston before so thought I would give it a try as I had nothing to lose and everything to gain!

The best part of the whole experience was the amazing feeling that walking onto the stage gives you, it is unexplainable and as soon as you come off stage you just want to get straight back on there.

Taking part in Miss Preston increased my confidence greatly and made me feel so much better about myself.

Competitions like Miss Preston have changed my life for the better, not just by my confidence in the way I look, but also in my career as well, after giving a short speech/intro to rooms of up to 300 people I am now miles more confident when giving presentations at work. Taking part in Miss Preston has also made me want to do even better next year in the hope that I can make it to the final of Miss England!

ENTER!! It is an amazing experience and a great opportunity to make new friends and greatly improve your confidence. You have nothing to lose, so why not give it a try; you could even find yourself being the next Miss England jetting off to the Miss World contest!

Boosted My Confidence

I hadn’t heard of Miss Preston until it was advertised in the Newspaper, a close friend advised me to sign up.

Being chosen to be in the final of Miss Preston was great and unexpected, all the other contestants were lovely and it was great to be a part of something like that.

Taking part totally boosted my confidence. I’m quite a shy person and going up on stage in front of an audience helped me out, also getting selected into the final helped me feel better about myself.

It was a great day, thanks for the opportunity! :)

The Most Amazing Experience

I entered Miss Preston because I enjoy the experience, meeting new people and I really would love to be a role model to all in the Miss England final one day.

The best part was meeting new friends and I loved the catwalk to bits.

Taking part in Miss Preston built my confidence and stage presence.

If you’re thinking of entering Miss Preston I would say definitely go for it, it is the most amazing experience and you meet the most nicest of people. You only live once so just go for it and give it your best shot it’s anyone’s game.

Made Me Realise

I entered because I always like to try new things; I’ve modelled before and wanted the experience of a beauty pageant.

The best thing was meeting all the girls and overcoming the nerves and having a feeling of achievement at the end of it even though I didn’t win.

Taking part in Miss Preston made me realise that when you get a group of beautiful girls together it doesn’t have to be bitchy! It gave me the confidence to talk to new people rather just be shy and nervous of other girls.

Make sure you enter with an open mind, don’t stereotype the competition, or expect it to be full of bitchy girls because its not!
