Sweet Home Alabama.

Miss Lancashire quote of the week:
‘The only way to get the oil is to press the olive’ – it takes pressure to release and produce the full potential.
It will make you more effective, it will cause you to excel and be the best version of yourself.

Project of the week: Sweet home Alabama

Stepping outside into 90 degree heat onto red clay ground wearing beaten up leather sandals, is exactly what reminds my soul of home. The smell of southern humidity, burnt out engines and cook out on a back porch is just a glimpse into my Alabama Childhood.

With consistent sense of adventure on the horizon, this is where lifestyle meets dirty southern street style… my dirty southern street style.

A lot of my day to day street style is inspired by anything ripped, oiled, distressed, broken and/or dirty; the epiphany of Southern Country Montgomery Alabama living. But don’t get me wrong, when we want to, us country bumpkins can scrub up ‘Real nice’ (Only to be read in a sweet home Alabama accent).

So from NASCAR to the chicken auction and don’t let me get started about those Fried Green Tomatoes, it’s safe to say that my Alabama Rebel heart is a dominant influencer when it comes to fashion.

It felt good to be surrounded by family and to REST (well pretend to rest) ahead of the Miss England Final 2014.
