The hectic life of Junior Miss Preston

Since I last updated you all with a short vlog on what I had been up to I have been mega busy again!

In my vlog I told you all about my many appearances as Junior Miss Preston since my crowning, my trip to the fancy dress shop Alladin’s Cave, my trip to Your Dream Dress on the search for my Britain’s Junior Miss dress and more!

HOWEVER…. I forgot to mention my other few events from the weekend before! I travelled to Ulverston to take party in a catwalk event with the beautiful Miss Cumbria- it was an amazing night! The day after this I travelled to Bolton to Lucy Physick’s / Miss Lancashire’s charity craft fair in aid of Beauty with a Purpose and Life after breast cancer fund! ❤️❤️

…. As well …. I have had a radio interview and done a few other appearances which you will see below!! ?

I also told you all about a couple of events which was coming up that weekend (the Preston Park Run and the Pink Ribbon Event) which I will now tell you about; as well as some other events which I have attended since then!!

To start with I will show you all some photos of the events I have just mentioned…

Busy busy bee

So, on Saturday the 14th of May I opened the Preston Park Run as it was their 5th birthday meaning runners from EVERYWHERE came along …. It was also fancy dress RESULT 😉
I set the runners off and cheered them all along the way!! The whole morning was packed with excitement, encouragement and happiness. It was lovely! After a while the runners all jogged to the finish line with great smiles still on their faces with me cheering them onto the end. So many people had incredible fancy dress outfits and I got soooo many photos!!

The running event ended and off I popped to ANOTHER event (both in the same day). This one was a mega special event which I had been invited to before I even won my title; a Pink Ribbon Charity Event hosted by Angela Houston and The Houston CHARM. I attended this event along with my big sister Elizabeth Grant who is Miss Preston, Alex Moran our Junior Miss North West and Ammie Shipton, Junior Miss Lancashire. The team north girls and I had a great day and also received a BEAUTIFUL gift at the end given to us by the host herself!! ANGELA HOUSTON.

This day was lovely and it was a pleasure to spend it with the lovely girls too!!

The day after this event was SUNDAY – for any normal person a chill day but not me!!! Sunday afternoon came and I went to support a local team in their last game of the season the decider of the league winners! My team won of course 😉 huge well done and congratulations to Rippon Reds!! The whole game was a nail-biting, edgy experience however at the end of the game I got lots of photos with the team!

After my busy weekend the week ahead of me was a pretty average one at school with lots of work to be done.
Friday soon came along again and myself and Abbie Kerr, Junior Miss Preston 2015, were off to Wales with Lucy Physick, Miss Lancashire to see Mary Ainsworth’s degree show/art exhibition!! After the show it was time to celebrate the end of Mary’s three long years at University! It was safe to say we had lots of fun.
12 o’clock came the next day and Abbie and I were still in Wales despite me having to be back for another event at 2pm!! A quick drive back to Preston and a speedy change later I was looking half decent and ready for my next event! A football presentation which I had been invited to the Sunday before when supporting the local team; the lads were over the moon with their trophies and awards and so was I!!

Soon came sunday where I was up bright and early for a fun filled day in Leyland at the fair with Alex Moran…. or not 😉 hahaha! Instead, after much confusion, we landed ourselves in Bolton at WACO’S Its A Knock Out Event along with Miss North West, Christina and Miss Lancashire, Lucy. Although the weather was 100% not on our side that day we enjoyed the day anyway. Well done to Lucy and Christina on sticking through the whole day of rain to raise funds for Beauty with a Purpose on the lead up to your Miss England final in July.
It is safe to say my last couple of weeks have been unbelievably hectic and I also have lots more planned which I cannot wait for!!
Hope you’re all well.

Lots of love
